(2) Electric Yellow Cichlid
(2) Yellow Peacock Cichlid
(1) Demasoni Cichlid
maybe 3 snails and a pleco? would this be over stocking or would i be fine?

all those fish are of the same lake......Lake Malawi

That might actually be understocking in regards to your demasoni. You might think about geting one male and some females to go with him. You'll also want a bigger group og this type to keep them busy with each other. Demasoni's are notoriously aggressive, and your other fish could suffer if you can't keep the aggression contained between the demasonis

mm i got my PH to 8.0 seems steady but still super cloudy because i had to add some odd rock to my tank to bring the PH up and more cichild mix and i added the african salt so soon as it clears i will add the "decortations" and the fish was thinking of an all male tank or would that be havok so the LFS people tell me?

All male works best with haps I think. I don't know how successful it would be with mbuna. The peacock and the yellow lab male would probably be all right. It's really hard to sex yellow labs btw, but even if you get a pair, they shouldn't be any trouble to anyone else. It's the demasoni that worries me.
