this is a pic of a friends victorian, it looks similar to a male nubila, does anyone else have an opinion or guess to add please.

hmmm...well, it looks somewhat like the photo of the wild male paralabidochromis sp. rock kribensis pictured on p. 44 of barron's...also resembles the male hap. copper black/makobe on p.93 of seehausen's...there are a great many fish with similar coloration--i don't know if you'll ever be able to pin that fish down, but good luck!! :confused::rofl::confused:

The black body with red on the fins does look like nubila to me.
