Water Pollution, and Pollution concerning the African Rift Lakes

I am doing a paper in chemistry about water pollution. I plan to write a little about how pollution is affecting Michigan's Great Lakes. However, I also thought it would be very neat to tie in the African Rift Lakes. If anybody has any articles about how pollution is harming the Rift Lakes that would be great if you could send me the links to them. The paper isn't due til Friday so I still have plenty of time. I've been looking with google right now and can't find a whole lot, but we did talk about it in my Biology class how the pollution is harming some of the cichlids in the Rift Lakes, so that's how I sorta figured it'd be an interesting topic. If anybody has any info or can point me in a good direction that would be great. Thanks again!

So I just finished the paper and I think it's a real winner so far. I might upload so anybody can read it if they want. It's about 6 or 7 pages double spaced so it should be a somewhat quick read.
