Question on exporting victorians?

When was it banned and could you guys give me an article on banning the exportation of wild victorians?

I believe that they stopped exporting vics around 1996 or 1998. I'm not sure if it was actually a "ban" at that time. The decreased number of mbipi, the lower interest by hobbyists and the difficulty of the exportation may all have been factors.

I think it was even earlier than that.... I was still in the ACA at the time so that is early 90's
