Pleco and Sand Compatibility?

Can a brisstle nose or bushy nose pleco live in a tank with sand substrate? or is the sand bad for them?
would you put a bushy nose pleco in a sand tank?

I've got two Gold Nugget's in a tank with sand. They do just fine.

That is all I have in any of my tanks and they all have some sort of pleco.

i dont see why it would be bad for them...... Go for it!

Sand is allright for the pleco, but probably more messy for the owner.
