Jon, I thought that importing from Lake Victoria was illegal? Am I missing something or misunderstanding you?

Yes they are 'ileagal" and the SSPs are even on hold in that area. Ocasional exports have been allowed for scientific institutions but I have heard that they are considering in uganda congress to allow some comercial rock cichlids to be exported. My wish is to not see all of those posibles get lost in the public if they come over comercialy, generaly wild cichlids are not documented by consumers at all, loosing thier "passports" so to speak and going to common names and hybrids instead of breeding programs.
