I am considering putting 2 Altolamprologus compressiceps in with my 2 juv. Cyrtocara moori and 2 Labidochromis caeruleus in a 36"x15"x15" tank. Does anyone forsee any problems with this arrangement? I noticed on a post just recently that there can be problems with diet, would that be a problem here? In the future they would be moved to a bigger tank, probably a 48"x 15"x 15".

I don't think so unless the Labs are strict vegetarians.

i don't understand...neither a. compressiceps nor c. moori are vegetarians, so why would the lab have to be?

No, I meant the only way I could see a problem with the mix would be if the Labs are vegetarians since the other fish aren't. And I'v enever kept them but I think they do fine either way.

Moori will grow larger than the other two, and much faster than the compressiceps(who will have good size as a fully grown adult).

Thanks for your help guys. I think I'll go and put an order in at the LFS for a couple of compressiceps when they are next available.

in my experience, moori grow at the same slow pace as tangs, and even with the size disprepancy, i still don't forsee any problems.
