I have a tank that was not being used for 4 years. I took it out and cleaned with python rydt( wrong spelling) then with API safe and easy. I filled with water and the inside still had white film and was very blurry. I took everything out and cleaned a few more times. It got a little better but still blurry. How can i remove the film? Is there anything stronger?

It is glass. I have heard people buffing the glass with a fine abrasive. Did anyone try that before?

bleach, water, water, water, water, water, water. The aquarium cleaning products are junk. While there is water in the tank, use a scrubby pad. It won't scratch it. Then, rinse, and start again.

for hard water stains long the top I always use a razor blade to scrape it off.

Lemon Juice is better than vinegar.... and a razor works wonders sometimes too!

Also, some "glazing" of the glass may never come clear, but when filled with water you won't notice it...
