View Full Version : Taiwan reef
I brought this guy home on Friday moved everything around and threw him in the tank. I came back an hour later to find him almost dead on the sand breathing hard. I knew someone was beating on him so pulled him out and put him in my shellie tank for the night. He revived very quickly so I put him back in the 180 in the middle of the night. I woke up in the morning and the lights were on. I found the Sunshine peacock pinning him in the top corner. The peacock was in full color which he has not turned until then. I could not beleive that he was the aggressor as I was sure it was someone else. I had to pull the sunshine out and put him in the shellie tank for the rest of the weekend. The taiwan caught his breath and is fine now. The sunshine is back in the tank in full color which is awesome and now back to his regular docile self.

You could try taking the Peacock out and quarantining him for a week to give the Reefer time to settle in. While in quarantine, show the Peacock videos of seafood being batter dipped and deep fried. That oughtta get your point across

LMAO
I could always put the 10 beside Moe my red devil for a while I guess.

whats the temp in that tank? Try raising it up a bit until the violence against the lil reefer subsides

Don't get me wrong here but doesn't increasing the temperature make fish more aggressive?

Don't know on that one, but my reefer seems to be doing better now my peacock still chases him but does not do any visible damage.

No not at all, your stabs are justified :)
The jury is out on temp, all I know is that little trick calmed my Chipoake. He is mellow now, so I have the temp back around Malawi norm.
