Hi guys,
I'm fairly new to the whole cichlid (had some general aquairium experience) thing but i want to learn cause cichlids are clearly the best tropical fish going around. I have african cichlids and I just want some tips on maintaing the best tank for these things. I know most of the basics i think, like PH level is higher say 8.0 for cichlids and water hardness needs to be greater, temp should be 23 -27 degrees. I have limestone, some cichlid mixture stuff and shell grit to maintain the water quailty and Ph Levels but is there anything else you can mention. Anything at all no matter how simple or stupid it may seem I probably won't know it (but I do know that they need water to live, lol).
Cheers
