i live in st pete florida
i have a shallow well and of course city water
not sure which would be best
well my tap water has a ph of 8.4 tds of 190 and a kh of 8
my well has a ph of 7.6 tds of 470 and a kh of 11.2
the well water is a little brown and ofcourse has the sulfer smell
but being a shallow well makes me kinda worrie being in the city and all the stuff people put on there lawn,
anyone in florida using there wells,
any suggestions would help

I'm not in Florida, but I would much rather use the city water than a shallow well. A shallow well is impacted heavily by runoff. It's not a stable source.

Tap because for all intents and purposes you know what comes with it.

Shallow wells are good to use for lawn & garden watering as well as filling pools etc...helps on the water bills.

Unless you are filling a "fish" pool

Yup, a 2000g "easy set" outdoor aquarium.
If you get a yes from the wife on that, you know she really loves you (or really loves the fish and just has you around for the labor:twisted:  )
