I need some advice. I was wanting to add a few more fish to my tank. I have a 125 with about 30 Mbuna of various types. But I want to add a few "cleaning fish". I don't have an algae out of control problem or anything, I just want to add some fish that will assist in keeping the floor of the tank and the glass clean. Any suggestions?
Most of here just use bottom feeders like chinese algae eaters, synos or plecos... this has been discussed before. Search under "algae eaters" and see what comes up.

Here are some photos of the syno's you could keep.
The first are synodontis multipunctatus I had 5 in the 125g they are notorius egg stealers and will lay their eggs in place of the mouth brooders. Best kept in with three or more and very active.
Next is Synodontis Angelicus these I rarely see except at night.
There is a bunch of other syno's you could keep also, or other bottom feeder's as Fox mentioned.

If you're sticking with fish from Malawi and your budget can afford it, get 3 Syno. Nyasse. They are the only Syno native to the lake. Otherwise there are a number of good synos as mentioned before. LOL
