This guy is starting to get color, when he turns the right way his whole side is irredecent Blue (how is that spelled), kinda like a pearl paint job on a car.

Do you have any words of wisdom for keeping Lethrinops? I'm thinking of getting a small group of Lethrinops sp mbawa (?) blue/black.
I love the stuff that not everybody else has; the only problem is that I can't find much info beyond the very basic on any Lethrinops. I'm assumng these will grow to about 5-6" max, and I'm goign to apply similar keeping regiman to them that I apply to my featherfins, but I don't know . . .

My ex-lethrinops grew to about 7 inches-I believe it was a L. lethrinus. he made a good community fish for my mixed Hap tank.
Your photo looks a bit like Pl. electra?

Thanks everyone, A.Harris they are like a hap./ peacock some more colorful than others. Check out Konings Lake Malawi third edition there's a ton of good photos on Lethrinops.
I used to have Leth. Intermedius which is under Tramitochromis now?, this also was a great fish similiar to Red Empress.
Hey Matt he does look like a electra especially when he has his breeding dress on he gets the vertical stripes the stripe through the eye and really black fins. There's a good pic. in Konings book.
