Last night around 12:30am I look over at my living room 20g and notice my Brichardi giving this Rusty/Red Zebra morph a bunch of flak. The lil Rusty was beat all to heck, so I decidied to quickly set up OVERAWED Gen. Hospital again. I just hate to lose any fish, and this Rusty hybrid is very nice looking. He will never go to a store so he is important to me.

I keep a 10g tank empty and ready to fill. I have another 20g with a bunch of Placidochromis Phenochilus and Red Eurekas and it has 2 sponge filters and a hang on the back Regent. I keep 2 sponges in there to keep them seeded for a quick hospital set up.

Anyway, as I am grabbing the sponge out of the 20g, the fish freak out and a Placidochromis flies right past my face and lands behind the bar I that have the tanks on. The bar is right on the wall so there was not very much space to work with. Luckily, there was some plastic tank background material that had fallen back there and the lil Placidochromis was wriggling around on it. I could just manage to barely get a hold on the plastic and slide it to me. I saved the little guy and the Rusty morph. All in 20 minutes work. I'm still happee about it. Just had to share. :D

Ouch, I know how it feels. Sorry for your loss.

All of the Placidochromis are of my own brewing, but I still could not leave it down behind the bar. I was worried I was going to have to drain the tanks in order to move them. Luckily that piece of plastic background was back there to catch him/her. :)
