Maybe new search engine, like google

Hey out there,
I haven't been around much lately so I'm sure everybody fogot about me but anyway I found this maybe new search engine at http://www.info.com and it seems to have pulled up different rusults than Google. I know how we love image searching so I thought you all might like it. Also I've seen a lot of posts being deleted by moderaters these days so very few might get to read this.

Thanks for the tip. Looks like info.com is a new site but uses the databases from the established search engines, including Google. Might be interesting for folks to compare Overture or Fast results, for example, with those of league leader Google. On the other hand, might not be a good time for that, as Google appears to be rolling out search results one data center at a time (at least this month), and its www results are a bit stale (or at least more so than the results at www-sj, for example).

Why "very few might get to read this"? You're not trying to sell anything, the link you've included doesn't point to your own commercial site, your message isn't inflammatory, derogatory, yadda yadda. Yes, it also seems to me that there have been as many posts deleted during the past few weeks as during all the previous months combined; but consider that line-drawing in this case is not a science, that humans discriminate the yes-no binary very differently than machines. Have the moderators made mistakes "these days"? I'm sure they--we--have (and not just recently). How about non-moderator members? Any mistakes there? I think we all sometimes need to just sit back and try to look at the bigger picture--not an easy thing, I admit, when we're also tuning in on seemingly every detail.

Anyway, thanks also for the opportunity to air some thoughts.
