They'll eat just about anything, what other fish are in the tank?

Mbuna can't handle too much protein in their diet, or they'll develop bloat. The NLS African Cichlid diet is better than the general purpose formula. Spirulina-based flake would also be good, some frozen bloodworms or brine shrimp 1-2 times a week for variety.
I hope you have at least 10-12 demasoni, smaller numbers of them don't work long-term.

I have roughly 20 demasoni.I feed the NLs african cichlid mix, spirulina flake, and frozen brine.

Sounds good, you shouldn't have any diet-related problems with the fish. The only other thing I feed my fish are the frozen bloodworms, they like those better than the brine shrimp. I do culture microworms for my L. multi's and Paracyp's, since they are both producing fry. Bloodworms/adult brine are too large for the fry, and the microworms live much longer in the tank than baby brine shrimp. Even the adults eat the microworms, though I do feed flakes as well.
