Why is my Dayglow 2 such a bully?

This guy's going to be making a trip back to the lfs where I got him if his "time out" in the sick tank doesn't work.

He scared my Hippo Point salmon female so badly that she had a heart attack and died right in front of my eyes!

He lip locked with her and pushed her into a corner. Before I could even lift the lid and stick my hand in the tank she was floating. I was so furious!:mad:

They were both the same size (4 1/2"), too. He didn't really bother any other fish, just her. Big jerk! Too bad he's not nice, because he is a great looking fish.

he probably needs a harem and another male to keep him occupied. was the hippo point the only vic female in the tank? that's probably why he picked on her.

Yes, she was. Today I'm getting the other 2 females. The Dayglow is going back to the lfs and I'm just sticking with the the Hippos.

i have a xmas fulu with a really nasty attitude, but he's really gorgeous and i'd hate to move him. he hasn't killed any of the other vics, but he suppresses them so that they won't spawn or fully color up.
