I just bought a 10gal with a couple of Blue Rams. I noticed in the daylight, they have a beautiful irridescent blue coloring, and rosy pink bellies on the females. The colors are gorgeous. At night, when I turn on my light, I have white fishies with black stripes and maybe a little bit of yellow and red on the fins and face.

What kind of lighting is best to bring out the natural colors of the fish?

do you have flourescent or incandescent lighting currently? more then likely its inc lighting, most smaller tanks come with those. upgrade to flour for better coloration. Add more plants and caves too, the more comfortable the fish are, the better they will look always

difinitely go woth the flourescent. I like the 50/50 lights I have on my 55 gal but I might just see how the 10k lights work for the 10 gal Multi colony I am setting up
