One thing with Festae though. They are very slow growers. Only about 1/2 and inch since I got him but has colored up

He is a good....7.5 inches tip to tail. Funny though Festae grow longer before they get thicker I have found.

When he is in breeding colors the green almost get flourescent and the lips go bright red. They are really quite a fascinating fish as when they are sleeping you can hardly tell the female from the male. They get washed out and show their black bars very prominantly. I will try to get a pick if I ever find myself sleep walking to the tank which is becoming more of an issue these days. I had better build a pond and a floating lawn chair.
