how many days will a sp.44 hold eggs?

just noticed today that she is holding, she wants to eat but its not happening.does anyone know how long before i need to move her to my 10gal. tank,and also does he need to go with her.these will be my first sp.44 babies,and i dont want them to be someones lunch! or should i move her at all?

vics usually hold for about 18-21 days...i would move her after about 10. the male has already done his job--leave him in the main tank.
