GOOD ENOUGH?

I just finished using my new "master" test kit on the water that comes out of our faucet. I double and triple checked the results. My pH is 8.0-8.2 (great!), but my general hardness is around 20. Should I leave well enough alone, or should I soften it and raise the pH?

Mine registers pH 8.2, gh/kh 15. I'd just leave it alone. Steady water parameters are good.

I thought 7.6 sounded awfull low considering all the sodaash up there.
