What synodontis species is this ? Is it worth AUD$125 ? They were approx 6' Thanks.

They look like adult versions of one species that Armke's was selling as unknown Synno. They may very well be ID'ed though; I'm no expert. The guy at the Planet Catfish website are though. You might go over there and check it out if no one here can tell you.

Look like eupterus to me, a fairly common species. Could also be a hybrid.

thanks. i thought it looked a lot like a eupterus too but the colour is what throws me. Anybody have any idea ?

I agree with toddnbecka it is possible a hybrid, but could be anew strain of euoterus

I'm no expert but i think the spots on S.eupterus are a little bit bigger, or that maybe that toe ones on mine are because they are only about 3.5"

i live a bout 7 miles from arkes and still havent been there, there site is cool, have you had any exp. w/ them?

they look alot like s.eupterus-featherfin syno.
they are worth som money, but definatly not 125$usd, don't know about aulstralian
for a 6", my lfs has them for 35$
