If there is anyone near me in the Tri State area (NY, NJ, PA) that would like any of the following fish, please let me know through PM on this forum, or you can email me at:
Merlyn2221@netscape.net and in the subject line put "I Want Fish."
Here is what I must move out:
Trio of Ps. lombardoi (1m, 1f, 1juv)4"& 3"
4 Labeo. fuelleborni (all m) 2 1/2"- 3"
1 electric blue Mel. johanni (m) 3 1/2"
1 Ps. saulosi (f) 3 1/2"
I also have "elecric yellow" Lab. caeruleus fry, and will soon have OB Peacock fry.
I am not asking any money for these fish, just want to put them with someone who might like to have them. This move is because I have a breeding pair of Hap. "salmon" Hippo Point  coming this week and need the extra space for them. :D

merlyn--are you going to put them in a tank by themselves? they would do better with company...in the same way that malawians are polygamous, so are vics--they don't form pair bonds.

No, not putting them alone. Moving the Vics and Tangs to the 120 for more swimming space, since they are larger. That will mean the 55g will be much too overcrowded, again.
I hope to be getting another "salmon" Hippo Point female within a few weeks. It all depends on the shipper from Africa and how soon he can get them to the lfs.

i wasn't aware that any fish were being exported from the lake victoria basin...are you sure about that?

How very right you are!:D Considering the condition of Lake Victoria, there is no direct shipment out of there. I misstated that.
(Pardon my muddleheadedness. I have bronchitis and feel like crap. Medicine is obviously affecting what little brains I have left. )
LFS where I get them, gets them from his supplier. The supplier does export them, but these may be "farm raised" from Asia. He gets a lot of his fish from somewhere there. Don't really know anymore about this supplier, though.
That makes me think of something...I supposedly have a Tropheus moori "ilangi" coming and it is supposed to be "wild caught," now I'm beginning to wonder. I'd better check into this, especially since where these Tropheus come from is so highly infested with crocodiles that they are considered rare since diving for them is so dangerous.
Can't believe anything lately...

I would like to have some. I just got some yellow lab juvies from my fish club about 2 wks ago. and I would like to have some more so they can be bred to nonblood relatives in the future. Must warn you though, This is my first time trying africans. I though they would be a good beginners fish and thats why I got them.
They juvies I got are in a 10g tank with juvie pink convicts. The labs will be eventually move to my 75g tank when they attain the right size. But the pink cons will have to go. I already gave away about 100 or so already. If you want them I can bring them to you at no cost too.

They are about an inch long (some bigger) now and ready to be shipped out!
I just looked on Airborne Express to see how I could ship them if I sell them online. I'd rather not though. Pick up is just easier.

I don't tell you this often enough...
You are one of the most thoughtful people on this board; and very knowledgable on many subjects, too.
Thanks for the link! (as always)
