View Full Version : Need Pl*co that deosn't eat cichlid eggs

My Tang cichlids are breeding! Their egg layers.Are there ANY Pl*cos that will leave eggs alone? Striaght Vegitariens ?
OR maybe, a shy Pl*co that wouls stay away from a nest ?
Thanks for ANY info. If such a Pl*co exist................I NEED ONE BADLY !

I think you can get a plastic one at Walmart..... :D


You'll be hard pressed to find one that doesn't have the potential to disrupt a substrate spawner especially when the lights go out.

Ancistrus bristlenose pleco, best pleco to keep w/tangs.

Hey I have some bonze catfishs with my electric labs!
The labs peck at the cats
But the catfish are reletivly shy so i recon you can keep em with tangs

I doubt theres a pleco out there that won't dine on a caviar dinner if they get the chance. Ancistrus bristlenose pleco will eat eggs as well as the broze catfish ( I assume they are cories). The problem is a night the plecos dont need to be shy when everyone else is sleeping.
