I have 2 Convicts in a 20 gal. tank with 2 clown loaches,2 black mollies, 1 betta, and 2 tetras. we have eggs and are waiting for them to hatch. Should I be worried that the other fish will eat the fry?

Babies: It's what's for dinner.

Seriously, you've got two problems right now. During the day, the parents will be attacking your other fish to protect their fry. The tetras (depending on type), mollies and definitely the Betta are all going to get damaged or killed. I'd remove the Betta as soon as you can. I'm assuming that you're keeping Betta splendins and not one of the larger, tougher varieties.

Second problem is the clown loaches are active at night when convicts have trouble seeing. They'll eat as many babies as they can while the parents defences are at their weakest.

Hope that bad news doesn't turn you off to keeping cichlids. They're wonderful pets, but they take some planning for their tankmates.
