I'm about 40 miles from Des Moines

I'm in Davenport, moving soon out of Iowa though. Check out http://www.iowaaquaria.com/ There is quite a few people from Iowa on there. ALot of people into African cichlids from both Tanganyika and Malawi. A few people into Bettas, and south american cichlids too. First meeting is being planned for Des Moines in January or Febuary maybe. Nothing set in stone yet though. Worth checking out, I think there is at least 2 or 3 people from Des Moines on the member list.

I have to agree I'm about 20 miles from Des Moines and Iaaquaria is a decent club young in the process though. They have some dedicated people to thier fish and tanks. A metting would be nice every now and then.
