hi i recentley purchased a 1.5' synodontis eupterus to put with my cichlids. They all get along great but i was just wondering is it normal for mine to have grown so quickly. It is now probably 2' and i have only had it for 2 weeks and all the markings are changing from stripes to spots is this normal? i am feeding it sinking shrimp pellets and frozen bloodworm.

They get to be around 6" I think just in case you didn't know. Maybe in the 10" mark. At any rate, he'll get pretty big, so be prepared to have him grow for a bit. He may not shootup to his max overnight. He may have growth spurts like the one you're seeing because he's really just a baby. And yes, he's going to have spots.
