Blotched catfish

A friend of mine has a blotched catfish that's about 14 inchs and she wants to get rid of it. Anyways, she was wondering what a good price would be if she were to offer it to a fish store.. To make sure she doesn't get ripped off... Any help or anything is appreciated.

Unless she knows what species the cat is dont expect much for it. Try postin a pic of it or checking out planetcatfish.com to ID it. Most LFS wont give you much for large fish. It usually very tough for a store to sell such a large cat.
