It's been a while since I took fish photos. Here are a few recent ones though.

Are those the WC calvus you got in Finz? Or the ones you were growing out? They look awesome!

Those are the ones I've been growing out.

Got any recent one's of your cyps?

I don't. I separated the male because he was running the ladies ragged. I'm a bit reluctant to put them back together.

Wish I had that problem....

I lost my oldest male cyp recently and the other male just swims around with the ladies. No fry in about 4 months now.:(

I am at a loss. I do have a few males from my last spawn that are beginning to color a little but still too young to breed. I may just have to break down and buy another male to give my existing one a run for his money.

Nice helianthus! (Almost) makes me miss my (evil, nasty, took over a 40g) pair. He's got some great fins!

Thanks Jeto, I use a Canon 20D with a wireless flash controller. For these shots, I was using my 100-300mm telephoto and shooting from several feet away so I could catch the natural behavior of the fish. I was using two flashes, one on top of the tank pointing down and one on a tripod in front of the tank pointed at the fish from an angle.

thanks finz. I too uses the telephoto lens for shooting fishes. But have yet to buy another flash.

LOL, my helianthus pair has a 20 long all to themselves for that reason. Definitely not a "community" fish when they start breeding.
