Sunday, January 15th, 2:00 pm, Tulsa Zoo Helmerich Learning Center
Topics will include:
Roundtable discussion on these issues, as time permits:
-Collecting Live Food in the Winter
-Water quality / water changes
-dealing with the effects of dissolved gas in tap water (its winter!)
-backup planning for power outages and other emergencies (things to have on hand, etc)
-DIY CO2
-"Silencing" the fish room (air pumps)
-Reducing labor in the fish room
-Other organizations (ACA, AKA) - I'll bring some sample ACA publications
-New topics for talks
-Ideas for expanding the club
-Ideas for tours/ other club activities
My personal auction items will be- Dapnia starter cultures if anyone wants some, or a few teaspoons of live Daphnia for food if you want to do that... I'm getting 3 teaspoons daily per twenty-five gallon culture.
Also bringing Sunset Hygro to auction...
