Wanted: Texas holey rock

Looking for a few pieces of texas holey rock for a 29 gal tank, without spending a fortune in shipping. Located in western PA.

You can try to find some limestone (texas holey rock) at a local landscaping place. If you have any rock quarries in the area they might be able to help you as well. Good Luck.

Thanks for your reply. I followed your suggestion, and got replies that ranged from "Never heard of it" (most common) to "Nope, don't carry that", and one place said we have never carried that, but check back in the spring, we always get new stuff each season.

I'll keep checking though. And if anyone has any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Or if anyone who lives in Tx is planning a trip to PA and wouldn't mind hauling some rock.........

ya, you'll have to ask for limestone not texas holey rock. most people outside of us fish keepers will have no idea about that. good Luck
