Washing sand

Hello can someone give me advice on how to wash my sand.
i dont now how to go about it or what i could use to help clean it .

What I use is a pillow case and just run water through the pilow case and strain the dust particles through. You can do this with a sprayer at the sink or alternatively a garden hose, or even in the shower.
