Sold as a Nic

But what is he I knew he wasn't true at the LFS but he is just a target anyway.

He just sort of looks like a blood parrot or something.

The female is at the bottom and she looks more like a nic.

What are we actually seeing in the pick? 1 or 2 of the supposed Nics? I can tell the fish on the bottom left is one of the fish your talking about, and the fish on bottom right looks like a Con and the fish at the top looks like some kind of Amphilo. Is that right? Or are 2 of these the strange Nics?

Hi Rex.

It is the top one I am wondering about. I will try to get a better pics. Amphilo is what I was thinking as well he in all honesty looks like an elongate parrot. He is also developed a red blotch on his chest as you can see a bit. The one at the bottom is out of the same tank, but that looks like a nic to me.

The one to the right is a con.

I will try to get a better pic, but I think we will have to wait to see if the other fish let him get older to see.

He has the attitude of a con though. Small and fiesty.

Hmm, try to get some better pics of him sometime and maybe we can figure out what he actuallly is. Definantly not a Nic though.

He looks to me kind of like a red devil(or midas not sure i get them confused) but i bought a fish that looked just like that and it turned out to be a red devil.

I am starting to think he is a nic-convict cross. The redish belly has gone away. He also scraps like a con, but is breeding with the female sajica. Weird mix. Thank god he is just a target.
