I have a client that had a tragically funny experience.
They were hauling a $31,000 shipment from here to we will just say Eastern Unites states for a trade show.
The vehicle was hijacked and all the stock was taken. They started to receive phone calls from various sources asking about prices and such on these units which was a bit strange as they have never sold this product in the U.S.
They were selling the replacement shipment at a trade show and people although interested why they would sell these things for this amount when you can get them $100 cheaper on Ebay. They again assumed that these people were looking at a knock off product so brushed it off. Until one of the customers brought them in a print off of what they see on ebay and asked them to match the price. There was their products with their labels being sold. The funny part is that the guy had a superior rating for selling goods since 1998. They reported this to ebay which did not do a heck of a lot however the police did. They have busted a major theft ring and my client will receive about half of their goods back.
Incredible that the guy would advertise with the person they stole the items froms label on the product in the picture. :roll:
