Hello,

Here (http://pvelasco.net/CAASBBS/viewtopic.php?t=2746) is a link to my new fishroom under construction. Still don't have power and water hooked up hence my question. I am ignorant in the electricity dept. On the back of my house is a 220V 50amp line from where the previous owners had a hottub. I want to use this line to run my new fishroom. I have been told that I can get 100amps of 110. I plan to put a panel in the fishroom and run 4-6 breakers for whatever needs to get hooked up. Basically what do I need to do/check out in order to come off this breaker and run line to the fishroom ?? Any brand names prefered of whatever items I might need ?? I plan to run underground and come up on the backside on the building.

Thanks for any help at all
Casey

I would get an electrician to run the wire and the box, you can run the outlets to the box pretty easily after the fuse panel is insatalled.

Yes I would too... Usually that sort of thing requires a licensed electrician.

There are certianly codes in your locality for underground cable too.

Yeah, in my area, the line has to be at least 3 feet under the ground:twisted:
