I was wondering if I could have some expert opinions on the AC 200.
it is $16.99 on petco.com pretty cheap compared to their store. would this be good for my 20g intended for africans. I have sand substrate will that be ok. Is this filter bad or somthing becuase it seems like too good of price compared to what I have seen in the store. I would just like to know what you guys think about the AC 200. Here is the petco.com link: http://www.petco.com/product_info.asp?familyid=4051&sku=1556110610&tab=3&dept_id=1056&c1=1051&c2=1056&c3=&ct1=Filters&ct2=Power+Filters&ct3=

the AC's in my opinion are the best filters in da world! in a 20gallon tough. with a sand substrate, it might be a little hassle. but a 200 for a 20 gallonm tank will provide more then enough filtration.

The only thing i would worry about is that the output for an ac200 is directed down. That might stir up sandand ruin the impeller. I have had no problems with mine, i use it with a whisper 30-60 on my 20 gallon. They do a great job!!!!!
