I do believe finz photography tips are finally setting in.

http://www.cichlidforums.com/postimages/2005-10-31/117820-001.jpg

Some exif data:
Camera model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT
Flash used: Yes
Focal length: 54.0mm
Exposure time: 1/50
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO equiv.: 200
Exposure: shutter priority (semi-auto)

Can't hurt for further tips.
I added additional light to the aquarium with a standard desk lamp and a 60 watt bulb as well as using the flash. I eliminated glare by having the lense edge on the glass. The image is uncropped and prints out as a quality
8x10.

Thank you finz for so many tips.

Am I right in thinking that I may have been off a hair in my focus?

I almost seems to me that the focus was just a little too deep.

Looks good to me Glaive. Focus looks like a tad bit of distortion from shooting through glass at an angle.
