Two mornings I have come into work to find one of my cons stuck to the ac 300 intake. I am wording who done it. There are two possibilities. Either the other convicts have paired up and they are slowly weeding out the other which to me is more than likely, or the male festae that they are in has got a hold of them.

Clues are that he was dead by the rock pile that the cons live in on (on that side, and that he head was missing. Chewed away.

I will let you know if I find fry.

How big was the convict that died? Was the head bitten right off or nibbled at?

Oh they are 1.5 inches I would say. The fish may have been altered a bit as it was stuck to the filter intake. I wouls say it was chewed off though.
