Has anyone raised these from a fry? My LFS has some greyish pre-juvies. I have wanted some Flavus for awhile, but I am not sure of the color and cannot find anything online. Hoping someone knows what they are supposed to look like as fry. I am guessing greyish is right, because most frys are dull. Just want to be sure, as I have bought some duds from this store. :( I still love em regardless. :)

Looked-up flavus, beautiful as adults. I would be interesed to get some information on their behavior in a Malawi tank.

Matt

I have some flavus fry which i'm in the process of raising. The parents are some beautiful fish and imo if you can get your hands on the fry i wouldn't hesitate in purchasing them.

No, I did not buy it from them, :( they sort of insulted me a little so I left the store. these guys are real meanies Also, I have like no where to put one. I have three small tanks infested with Phenochilus and Eureka fry so I don't know where I could put him. I have a holding Red Emp as well.
That looks like a well fed Flav SGM! :P
