Hello there everyone. I bought 5 corydoras like a week ago. They are at one inch big. Well how big do they have to b in order to breed. Well thanks.

Breeding cories is not the easiest thjing to do. Max size is like 3 inches/. If I remeber correclty you have to simulate the rainy season in SA to stimulate them to mate. Basically your water will go from lets say 85 deg to 70 deg within a day or two. This will simulate what happens when the rains come after the dry season. You have months of hot dry weather (no rain), then you have months of almost continous rain. Some places in the amazon see well over a 20 foot rise in the water height between wet and dry seasons. There should be plenty of info on breeding cories on the net. Good Luck.
