I went on a fish run today. :D

I wanted some oto's and some Synodontis eureptus from the Petsmart, but the tanks looked too bad to feel comfortable buying from them. So I headed up to Aquarium Concepts where I found a beautiful Dimidiochromis compressiceps for the main tank ($13)and 6 glo light tetras (6/$9)for my planted tank. The best part was I found a $20 bill in the change pocket of my jeans while I was waiting at the counter. It's like free fish. At least that's what I told my wife.

Then I headed down to The Reef Shop which was closing 5 minutes after we arrived. So I settled for a cleaner shrimp($18 ) for my reef. I probably would have got more if we had the time. :(

If only I had more room for more tanks. :(

not so much time these days...i used to go about every other day to the one near work, and just about every sat. and sun. to the ones that were near my old apartment...but these days, i spend more time browsing the auctions at aquabid, and i've even slowed down a lot with that--i'm really out of room. i did have a brainstorm, today, though. i've got all these victorians that need to go into species tanks, but nowhere to put them, but i'm going to get a double decker stand for the fifty-five that's sitting on an old stereo cabinet, then i'll put 3 20's or 2 20's and a 10(depending what will fit) underneath facing sideways. i'm picking up a new 70 today which i should also be able to put smaller tanks underneath--voila!
