Well, I decided what is going in tank one and I put them on hold today - a group of Haplochromis limax.

Gonna get 2-3 males and 4-6 females in a species-only 40 breeder.

:D

Now there is a chiclid! :D They are pretty fish! I wonder what they would mix with... open bottom, reedy shores... hmmm that isn't the typical african biotope... I can't wait to see what other interesting fish you come up with Matt!

I am still planning my 210g... and I find that these big tanks offer so much possibility that I can't decide on anything!

I'd also like to get a group of Paralabidochromis chromogynos.

I love the look of those!

Excellent first choice, Matt. I've never kept them myself.

Thanks! I think they're gonna be awesome! One down, three (or so) to go. In fact, right now it's time to go research potentials!

and I'm gonna be keeping a Vic that you haven't? :jaw:

I plan on breeding the little buggers. Want some?

The Limax are definately on my wish list. Unfortunately, I don't have room at the moment. I am dedicating significant resourses to breeding and distributing the blue ugandan variety of rock kribensis that originated from the Shedd Aquarium. But keep me in mind for future trading.

Definitely! If/when I move to a bigger place, I'm gonna add lots more tanks...

And I come back to Chicago every couple months, so down the road, we can definitely trade!
