Hey guys Maroon Cat here. this is my first official post here at the Cichlid Forums. What better way to start things off with a bang....

yeah i used a Kodak Digital for these, but im no pro as you can see and my fish are a little hesitant (except for one) to get there pic taken....

some pics of my "Rusty"? Mbuna? im not quite sure if he is actually tho so can you guys tell me what he is?:

ive got a few more fish to get pics of ( Red Port Acara, 2 baby Salvini) but they dont seemt to want to come out any advice?

Well he is not a rusty! jaw is all wrong! Can't ID him though

would it help iif i had better pictures?

cuz i can get them( he like having his pic taken...)

when i originally bought him he was a light purple(lavenderish) with out the stripes but now hes usually Bright blue and yellow..

also from what i hear Rusties are not that agresive, but this monster killed at least 7 other fish whn he was a baby so i have yet to introduce him to any potential tankmates.. he also seems to love to attack my elbow throught the glass... this is the first fish to ever do this to me anyways.....

well after scanning the net the closest ive come to figureing out who he is is Labeotropheus trewavasae... hmmm

thats the closest pic to mine ive seen...
