...to speak about his last collecting trip in Mexico. Interesting guy, and fascinating slides showing many undescribed species of swordtails and cichlids he collected. And Rusty brought a dozen or so bags of fish from that trip, most of them not yet available in the hobby, and presented them to the Brampton club to auction off.
I resisted of course. No, I lie. I got one of three bags of yellow labridens, six feisty dime-sized F1's from one of the pairs he caught wild. Here's a pic of an adult:

I asked Rusty how he made a livelihood collecting fish. He suggested I rephrase my question as "How do you spend a livelihood collecting fish?" which he would gladly answer.
