Here's couple pictures i thought i'd share when i made my PVC cave tunnel thing. Very easy, to do.
Supplies:
PVC
Sand
Silicone
Latex Gloves
1. Get necessary PVC you'd like sand it down a little so silicone will adhere to it better.
2. Take some sand out of your tank and dry it out good for couple days if need be.
3. Put on your rubber gloves, start putting aquarium safe silicone on the pvc and rub it everywhere on the pvc with your hands, then begin Rolling the PVC in the dried sand and pouring sand everywhere around the pvc, until your satisfied. Then let it dry for 48-72 hours, and then ready to go in your tank. Here's some pictures to help you along:

As you can tell doesn't look all that bad in the tank, fish took to it right away:
