I am considering moving my female Jag to my office. What size tank would be required to house her alone, and what size tank if I was to add a pleco? I need to know if I'll have the space to setup a suitable tank for her long-term.

I am going to get beat on for this but I say a 55 wide is all you need for her. For a pleco I would add another 100 gallons for common pleco.  They are so messy. I would try to put a dwarf bristlenose, or clown in the 55 with here with lots of nooks and crannys and hope for the best. Most fish don't mind them.

yeah, I'll probably go without the pleco, I just hate scrapping algae. Maybe I'll run the tank water through a planted sump to reduce the algae. Glasscages.com has some wide tanks that might work. I'll check it out.

Yeah, they've got a 65 gallon that's 48x18x17. Same footprint as a 90, only shorter. Best of all, it's only $80.

i think u could house her in in a tank that is atleast 16inches wide so she could have turning space. that 65 sounds perfect to me
