I am really debating what to do with my office tank. I am getting a bit disenchanted with my flowerhorn and looking for something else.

Here are my options

Proven pair of jaguars 4 inches, Found them last night at a garden market fish store. 24.99 for both. The fry are in the tank right now. I can buy the parents. This would convince me to buy a larger tank real quick.

Keep the flowerhorn

Set up another tanginikan tank with pair of altolampurus comps Red fin
4 Brevis, 1 pair of julies, and one pair of Brichardi.

Or Rudy get your head out of your a.... and quit changing your fish around.

Here's my foolproof plan :D

1- Buy Jags
2- Feed Flowerhorn to jags.
3- Poison jags and slip them into your bosses lunch.
4- Use money from promotion to put 500 gallon tank in your new, larger office.
5- Return to step one, and repeat until you're a CEO with a 2,000 gallon aquarium in your penthouse office :twisted:

Geez- When your done you'll have a six figure salary and a 2,000 gallon tank. You'll be able to practically re-create Lake Tanganykia right in your office 8) You'll probably have to go with africans anyway because your LFS guy won't want to sell you anymore Jags :shock:

Well I got to work early this morning to get my tank ready for the jags. I have my flowerhorn in a bag, sitting in water with the other jag and tinfoil barb sitting downstairs in a bucket. I left two small tinfoils in there I am also going to get some "assorted africans" from the LFS for some dithers.

Mbuna seen to work well with jags when they are smaller as they always try to steal territory. Jags umm don't let em. The male and female have lived in the same 10 gallon for 5 months apparently and just paired up. There looks to be about 200 fry in the tank so they are a pretty good pair. The male is not ruff on the female at all in fact the little store I am picking them up from was under the understanding that they were not jaguars, they were managuense and that they get 5-6 inches so they are pretty well full grown. :lol: Oh well it is a good find. He will get ruff, but hopefully I will be ready for the ruff sex.
