Don't tell Debbie, I am puttin in a new kitchen floor while she's out of town. Hey could some of you fly in and give me a hand, I don't live far from the airport :)
Have any of you used the Armstrong swiftlock laminate? Now I really have to go back to work.
Have a good weekend everyone!

You're doing it all wrong. If you play them right you can get the wife to put the floor in.
No foolin', my wife did our entire home in Armstrong vinyl tiles. The old carpet smelled like smoke from the previous owners and she liked the smooth floors (good for our allergies too). I helped pull out the carpet and cut some of the more intricate pieces of tile and she did all the rest. I did help her paint the walls, but not until she killed all my fish with the fumes.
Maybe the fish killing was related to some unspoken rage over the floor. :?

Oh, Boilermaker, that stuff is the easiest to put down. My brother did his whole kitchen (20' x20') in it and it looks great. Took him one day!
Too bad you hadn't asked sooner. I had off all this week from work!
And I am the self proclaimed [i:a65f5b558c]Queen[/i:a65f5b558c] of home improvement.
We always have some new project going on here!
Send pics of how it looks when you're done.

Thanks :) , she was surprised, she knew something was going on but thought I was tearing into the laundry room to make my fish room.
That will be next time  .
Went appliance shopping tonight, having a hard time finding a 36" stove.
May have to get it through the internet

Try Maytag. I think mine is 36". I got it in Home Depot.

We tried Maytag thats where we bought the frig. and dishwasher, but the only thing we can find in 36" is Peerless premier and Tappan offers one and Whirlpool offers one, the problem is no one in town carries any so we may have to ship it in. Most everything is 30" or 40" or 36" flattop.
