View Full Version : Frontosa sucking air

This weekend I dropped off my shellies, moori and 3 fronts to a new friend. He has a couple of fronts that have the problem of sucking air from floating pellets. It is probably one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed. They are literally helplessly floating at the top of the tank.

How can you correct this and save the fish. They are eating and everything like that they are just stuck at the top. I have heard of people taking the air out with a needle, but as he has never tried and nor have I we were a bit reluctant to do it. Is there another way?
