Hey everyone,

Besides planetcatfish.com and scotcat.com is there any other website that would be worth visiting. I just got 2 petricola about a week ago and want some more info.

I can tell you that they like to be in big groups of more than four. I have seven. They can also thrive on a mostly vegetable diet which is why folks will keep them in tanks with tropheus. They are a Rift Lake cichlid so they like a high pH and can tolerate cichlid tankmates with great ease. They stay in the 4" range for life. They take a while to mature years, like three to four. They are egg scatterers, not cuckoo spawners unlike S. multipunctatus.
